Volunteer abroad and directly impact local communities.

Volunteering Abroad With AIESEC

In AIESEC, we believe that everyone has the ability to change the world - even if they don't know it yet. That's why our mission is to help enable young people develop these four leadership qualities through our experiences. All Global Volunteer projects have been created by schools and NGOs overseas partnering with AIESEC to enable young people from across the world to support tackling the Global Goals relevant in their local communities.

Project Coordination

We partner with not-for-profits and schools to create projects that directly address one of the targets of the United Nations's 2030 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. These are local organisations addressing local issues in sustainable ways where projects are enhanced by global volunteers.

Individual Leadership Development Learning Program

We offer tailored support to help you make the most of your experience from beginning to end. We provide you with a self-driven experience where you will undoubtedly face challenges, but have the support network for you to have the freedom to fail and learn.

Logistics Support

We provide assistance with visa, airport pickup and departure, assistance with accommodation, transport and basic necessities. Local AIESECers from abroad will act as your insider guide to help you get settled into your new environment.

Project Coordination

Each volunteer will have an individual learning partner both from AIESEC in Australia and from your local AIESEC entity abroad. They will be part of your support network, will encourage you to fully process your experience, and will be available to assist in the case of any potential issues that may arise.

Virtual & Physical Education Workshops and Resources

Going abroad by yourself is not a small task - even if you've done it before! We host preparation spaces so that you have the information to get ready not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally for the journey ahead. This includes things like packing tips, dealing with culture shock, and personal goal setting to help you stay focused.

"Being able to interact with like-minded people from all different parts of the world helped me distance myself from implicit stereotypes and become more mindful of my own self."

"It's been a challenging ride but knowing that I can have a positive impact pushes me to do more and be more every day."

Jason Hung

“By having the opportunity to deliver quality education to even a small group of children, there was a step towards progress and it made me realise the power that young people have to actually make a difference.”

-Naomi Dang

“I realised that it’s important to indulge yourself into other cultures and not just stick to your own. Lifetime friendships are waiting for you all over the world.”
