Organisation Details

Be an English teacher at The Homestay Saigon where you will stay in a bunk room with other EPs and students together throughout your project time. Along with preparing materials and teaching English for students on weekdays, you will also have a great time enjoy Vietnamese culture by other activities to fulfil your Global Volunteer journey.

Roles and Responsibilities

Main activities:

📚 You will prepare necessary lessons and materials for teaching in your classes.

💼 Recruiting new students by interview candidates who applied in your classes.

🔍 Supporting students in the Homestay to improve their English and reflect what they've learned.

👫 Collaborating with other EPs in making teaching strategy.

🎻 Experiencing Vietnamese culture by attending cooking class, outdoor trips to nearby provinces

🎨 Creating activities, workshop besides English classes.

✂ Sharing and bringing your cultural perspective to your students about an open world.

📝 Reflecting and providing feedback to help us improve the project quality and other EPs experiences.

Logistics Details

Accomodation and three meals a day are provided.

The Fine Print

Program Fee: $950 AUD

Browsing through our internships online is free of charge. Once a match is made between a volunteer and the opportunity, all programs require a $950 AUD program fee. This fee does not cover flights, visa fees, or insurance. Please check your specific project as accommodation or meals may be included.


Volunteers are required to be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. There are no background requirements in terms of education or work experience. Applicants should be able to speak good to native English. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin.
