Organisation Details

“I WANT STUDY!” Some words babbled out from a child living in a small province which rarely gets any attention from foreigners and definitely is not a good English environment. Those words can hardly make sense, but inevitably express the desire to learn despite a impoverished condition. By providing them with opportunity of decent education, Dream Maker aims to remove the barrier of adversity, helping them dare to dream and find their own identity.

Roles and Responsibilities

Main activities

  • Teach English in a fun way for poor children from 8-18 years old, curriculum books provided
  • Teach English for students at the shelter
  • Teach English for university students who want to improve their speaking skill
  • Organise fun and sharing outdoor cultural activities for the kids
  • Participate in weekly events of AIESEC local volunteer team
  • Taking care of the garden at boarding school, orphanage

Logistics Details

Accomodation provided and covered with three meals a day.

The Fine Print

Program Fee: $950 AUD

Browsing through our internships online is free of charge. Once a match is made between a volunteer and the opportunity, all programs require a $950 AUD program fee. This fee does not cover flights, visa fees, or insurance. Please check your specific project as accommodation or meals may be included.


Volunteers are required to be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. There are no background requirements in terms of education or work experience. Applicants should be able to speak good to native English. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin.
